You defined tweet ups perfectly. Now if you can figure out if it’s tweetup, tweet-up, or tweet up… that’s the real trick! I don’t have a preference as long as people show up and have a good time. Oh, wait, not people… tweeple!

I love Paint the Towne. So fun! Be sure to take a picture of everyone with their final product. It’s crazy how different the same painting can turn out. Cocktails make for better art, too.

I was upset for two reasons! First of all I missed last nights performances due to work (I am working on that!) and second of all that one of the most talented singers up there went home. I think that Casey is being kept there for sex appeal. Don’t get me wrong I don’t have anything against him personally. He just sounds the same week after week. I just don’t think he is as talented as Sibhan.

Going to have to agree with most of what you said. I did not ‘watch’ with my eyes but rather with my ears this time, which is the first time I have done this. It is interesting to just listen rather than look and listen and I can completely agree with you. The entire cast lacks a lot of on-stage presence really. Poor song choices and poor confidence levels. There is just no real diamond in the rough or break out artist in this bunch. No one really stands out. Crystal, while true to herself, does not touch the crowd. Didi certainly touches the crowd but her facials and body language will only get her so far. Siobhan is in a class all on her own and her ‘differences’ will be the death of her on this show. Casey is the rocker they have to have on the show since Bo and Constantine and he is not ‘in’ it as it appears. The rest of the guys are not standing out and Katie tried to make a statment last night but she lacks something to make her known. I am not sure there is even enough talent there this year as there has been in the past. During other years you would have multiple favorites to stay on to the end…I have multiple favorites to go tonight. Expectations are just not being met at all for me.

Off key or not Lee Dewyze is the one to watch. His great tone and rasp outweigh the pitchiness (which I think will improve over time). Check him out on youtube..he is a seasoned performer. His bashfulness and humbleness are appealing too. Hey, Simon says and he’s usually right. This one is a diamond in the rough.

I am so ticked…I missed it and I heard I missed better performances than the guys! I did hear you say that once again Randy (or one of the judges) thinks they have the best line up of talent to date???? WHAT?!?!! Randy must be nuts. Do an All-Stars Show, with the top 2-3 of all the shows and see the talent…yeesh…best talent to date…not from the snippets I have heard so far.

I think you are right, from your on air talking, I think it will be a woman this year!

I heard a re-cap this morning and Kidd Kraddick in the Morning and wow! The talent, from a person who has not been watching regularly, is not nearly what it has been in the past. I hope it gets better. Maybe I will watch tonight…blah.
